This is actually somewhat a boring gallery because all there is is water. Too much water! And not, a place, to sleep.

It was fireworks day. Went to the Taste of Chicago. Walked along the lake, and before Navy Pier, this thing caught my eye.

December 6, 2009 12:16 a.m.

I was at a boat cruise (school dance) at Navy Pier. It ended at 1:30 a.m. After the boat cruise, I went to check out the sewers!

Last year, I also went to the boat cruise, but didn't have a camera as it was stolen. But I did explore MySecretBase.html without a camera.

1:31 a.m. - minutes before departing the ship.

2:17 a.m. This manhole actually has a 3-way intersection, though not visible through the photos. I could not go down this 1 because it was too stuck! Unmovable.

This is to my left.

2:47 a.m. This is looking down. See my foot, it is right at the step right above the water. So the ones below are not a reflection, but steps below the water surface (pretty deep).

And this is straight, well a little to the right.

2:48 a.m.

While holding my 2 flashlights in 1 hand and my camera in the other hand, and standing on the steps, I could not make a 360 degrees turn. So I made 2 videos of ~180 degrees turn. There is some sound there.

2:51 a.m. I always wanted to get a shot of the moon from below the surface in the sewers.

2:53 a.m. Now, the CWW manholes, I normally never put on my site, but this 1 I'll make an exception.
