Slacked
Slacked network was created as a result of too much drama on Webnet. It was founded by Ritalin on Webnet = shadow on Slacked in late 2004, but didn't officially become a network by 2005. Ritalin ran an #addicted channel which had a lot of ops but a ScottK called Ritalin the "leader of evildoers" so eventually Ritalin foundeed his own place.
As a direct quote from the official Slacked website, states: "Most of us were originally users of the WebChat IRC Network, whose opers had a reputation of abusing and being generally corrupt. Our intention was to create a network where the freedom and privacy of our users is not only respected, but enforced. Slacked is a great network for people looking for a smaller, more fun server, with an awful lot of potential."
Shadow's server linked up with Loser's server on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, to form their network.
